Ab Stew

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 med Yellow onion
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- ½ c water
- 3 medium potatoes peeled and diced
- ½ tsp Kosher salt
- ¼ tsp Fresh ground black pepper
- ½ lb pounded abalone, sliced and cut into small chunks
Instructions
Melt butter in a large sauce pan. Add garlic and onion and
saute until golden brown. Add in tomato sauce, water,
potatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer until the potatoes are
almost tender, adding in another ¼ c of water if necessary.
Stir in abalone and cook over low heat 5 to 10 minutes
more, or until abalone is very tender.
Comments
I love a good ale with this dish. Something like Bass or
other pale ale.
